Finally, an apple

We've had an apple tree in our backyard for a long long time. For years it's never actually had an apple on it.... BUT this year we finally got one! It was soooo cute and little and green. We were so excited about it. The funny part is that I think it's been so long since the tree has actually produced an apple that the branches weren't strong enough to hold it. The branch with the apple slowly and surely sunk quite low until we finally picked the apple. Clint and I were so excited to take a bite of the juicy thing, imagining it would taste just like a grannyapple. Unfortunately, we discovered it was picked way to early and hence, tasted more like a sour patch kid. haha.... without the sugar. But, it was still fun to have a beautiful green apple on our little tree!
