I LOVE FIELD DAY!

I wonder if it's because of my fond memories from elementary school, or just my love of outdoor fun, but Field Day is one of my favorite days of the year. I love watching the kids race in fun relays and cheering them on. I love being with the other parents/teachers/ and kids helping out wherever I can, and not worrying about grades or homework, but just enjoying some good, clean fun!! It's a BLAST!! Jaron and Emma had a lot of fun this year too. Jaron and Emma both got soaked and the teachers got into it too. So fun! We, as a PTO handed out otter pops to all the kids, but I have to admit that following the kids around was the most fun!!

If you look close at this bottom one a couple of 5th graders come around Emma with cups of water and then drench her. it's pretty funny.. I just wish I got a better angle.

We love Taylor Swift and High School Musical

Dang, kids are sooo funny. One evening while I was watching my brother's kids they were all in an "entertaining" mood. Such silly girls. Here's some of their wonderful performances starring Emma and Shaunie, and Lily and Leah!

Trampoline fun.. doesn't this look a little dangerous. Ya, I thought so too, so we made better rules... but not until after I took a few pictures. haha.

These guys actually slept out on the trampoline, but got rained on. It took a while to wake Emma up to get her inside. I guess she doesn't mind getting pummeled by raindrops while sleeping.

Clint's brother, Kayden had his bday dinner at Red Robbin. It was so yummy and so fun to sit and gab with all the adults in the family.

We discovered one of our box turtles has a thing for pancakes. When Bart wouldn't eat them, Clint went outside to pick them up and saw this. haha. So funny.

Easter with Mangums!!

We had a great time with Mangums too. We met at River Moutain Park for a bbq, which got started late due to the fact that i forgot to bring the bricketts. haha. Oops! We had an easter egg hunt on the grass for all the little kids which was loads of fun. Then we had a little sand volleyball (again, got started late... I forgot the volleyball too. Luckily Jeremy new a friend that lived nearby that had one. haha). Afterwards, we met back at my parents house and exchanged our adult easter egg baskets (no dirty thoughts! the adults just did up an easter egg basket with stuff in them and then we drew names to see who would get them. It was cool). Good times!

Easter fun with the Campbells!

For Easter with the Campbell family we met at Bec and Dave's house for some fun visiting, eating, and a really cute easter "carrot hunt". Bec is so creative. It was a fun time. I love spending time with the Campbells!
