First Day of School

I have a son in Middle School????!!!!! What!!!!??? I can't believe it! AND he goes to Burkholder (same as I did...yikes!) I was so worried all summer about Jaron starting Jr. High. Worried about everything from locker combinations, to bullies, to 6 classes, to the bus..... everything! Well, turns out I shouldn't have worried so much. Jaron is loving it so far!! Thank Heavens!! I can't wait to talk to his teachers in a few weeks and see how he's doing in all of his classes!

Jaron and his best buddy, Devin, about to leave for the bus stop.... it never came and I ended up driving them. They were about 15 minutes late for their first day. hahaha. (we (Devin's mom, Dia, and I) called the school so they knew)... Several kids were late the first day due to bus problems. The next day was much better! :)

Emma was so excited to go back to school. Infact, she's been excited since the middle of July. haha. She's in 2nd grade now and has the funnest teacher, Mr. Wolsey. She is, of course, totally lovin' it and on the first day of school came home and told me, "Mom, My teacher is HILARIOUS!" I'm so glad she is such an easy child when it comes to school. It's so nice. She got picked to be a lunch room monitor this year and thinks she is so grown up because of it. It's so cute! Oh- my sweet little girl is so grown up!

Lily was so excited to go to school and was soooo mad at Clint and I the rest of the day when she discovered there wasn't a classroom for her to go to at Hinman! I gotta get her into preschool next year or she's really going to freak out! haha. She looks so happy in this picture!... right before we dashed her educational hopes! Poor girl!
