Wedding and long awaited visit!!

The day after we got home from Utah Clint's twin brother, Clay, and his wife Allison came from Maryland for a visit. It was so exciting cause we haven't seen them in almost 3 years. Also exciting, was that same weekend, Clint's brother, Kourtney, married his long time girlfriend, Christen. It was a busy, fun weekend full of activities, dinners, and lots of visiting! The wedding was nice and Clay and Allison have gone home now, but we miss them horribly! Can't wait til after christmas when they come again! Here's some fun pics of the weekend and the wedding! We all met at Kolby and Janine's house on Wed night about 9pm to welcome Clay and Allison and visit for a little while. LtoR: Kourtney, Dad, Clint, and Clay

Clay and Carson: Carson did pretty well over the weekend figuring out who his daddy was. There were a few mistakes when Clint and Clay weren't together but other than that, I was impressed. haha.

Thursday morning Clay went with Clint on a ride along at work, and us gals went out to lunch together! It was so fun! I LOVE girls days. We went out to Town Square and had lunch at Claimjumpers and then window shopped for a while. It was HOT, but it was still fun. :)

Thursday night we had a couples date night. We went to Buca De Beppos, which was so cool, cause we all got to sit together in the "Pope room" at a huge round table. Perfect visiting atmosphere. Then we went to Neilsen's Frozen Custard for dessert and then to our house to visit some more!! Yay for family!!

Friday morning we did coed basketball and volleyball up at a church in Boulder City. It was a lot more fun than i thought it was going to be. I know in this pic Allison is the only girl playing, but really Bec, Shelly, and I all played too. I think in this pic is Kelly, Keith, Clay, Kourt, Alli, Clint, CJ and Kyler. ..... I think. haha.

The little boys wanted to get in on the action too. Mack, Carson, and Z had a blast playing ball on the stage.

Saturday afternoon Clint and I and the kids and Clay and Allison went to lunch at In and Out Burger. Emma and I left early to go to her school open house. Clint went with Clay and Allison afterwards to meet up with Kelly and hit golf balls at the driving range. He had a total blast and now can't wait to play a round with the brothers. haha.

Saturday night we had a family pre-wedding family dinner (with Christen's family too) at Mission Hills park. It was perfect for a bbq. It was relaxed and after dinner the kids could go play at the water park.

To finish off the weekend a lot of us went to Mom and Dad's ward where Kolby and Janine spoke in sacrament mtng and Clint, Clay, Keith, and Kayden sang a beautiful arrangement of "Love at Home". Sunday evening everyone came over to our house to visit and play games and eat leftover desserts from the wedding. It was a lot of fun with lots of laughter! It was kinda the goodbye event for Clay and Allison too cause Monday morning Clint and I took them to the airport :( so sad.
