Thursday was Emma's class party and halloween parade at the school. I love spending time at her school. She has a great class and a fun teacher so of course, the party was great and so were the kids! After school we stayed after and helped set up and decorate for the school chili cook off and costume contest. Emma dressed up as a police officer this year, which Clint thought was so cool! He was on his way back to the station when we were still at the school, so he stopped by and took a pic with Emma. She was so proud. :) Emma even won a costume prize from her category (superheros!). Jaron was the white ninja from GI Joe and couldn't stop swinging the sword around. I was waiting for someone to get hit, but alas, everyone was still alive by the end of the night. Carson hated dressing up (he was a honeypot), and cried when we got him dressed, but by halloween night he like wearing the costume and hat. haha. Lily was a cat and a sassy one at that! I thought she looked so cute!!
We have such a cool ward! Friday night was our ward Halloween party and Trunk or Treat. It was a blast! We combined with another ward and it was HUGE! We especially loved that Clint's brother, Kolby, and his wife Janine, and their family came and were right next to us. Lily and Bela had so much fun, and Carson and Talin played with a ball in the parking lot for forever. Everyone had a great time!
After the Trunk or Treat Kolby and Janine came over and we watched a scary movie, "1408". It was really fun visiting til late in the night.
Saturday (Halloween), we straightened up the house, and then watched "Hocus Pocus". That evening Clint took the kids over the Gma and Gpa Campbell's to eat chili and show off costumes, while I finished up getting things ready at our house for that night. Jeremy and Rachel and their kids, and Josh and Jody and Maddie, and my parents all came over for a little get together. We had some chili and grilled cheese sandwiches. Rachel and I took the kids trick or treating (Josh, Jody, and Mad met up with us later), while Clint and Jeremy and my parents passed out candy at the house. It was really fun to take the kids in our neighborhood (which we haven't done for several years). After trick or treating the kids decorated cookies and divided up candy. :) We put on nickelodeon halloween shows for the kids and the adults visited for a while and passed out more candy until we were totally out. :) LOTS of kids were out that night. After most everyone left, Josh, Jody and Clint and I watched Mothman Prophecies. It was a really fun weekend!
Get him Emma!!! (funny video!)
