For the 4th of July several of the Campbell family got together in Boulder City for a picnic dinner and watching of the fireworks. It was so much fun and actually pretty nice sitting out there on the grass under the shade structures. The kids had a great time together (as usual) and adults had a great time visiting and getting some details about Bec and Dave's recent church history trip. There was yummy food too which is always nice. :) When the sun went down, everyone got all situated to watch the fireworks, and of course, Boulder City didn't disappoint. It was an AMAZING show!! Every year we go up there I'm amazed at how incredible that fireworks show is. It's our favorite place on the 4th! The kids loved it and even lit off some of their own little fireworks and sparklers. We stayed out there til pretty late waiting for traffic to leave which was fine cause we got to visit in the cool grass while everyone else battled the traffic. :) (I LOVE that Clint has Monday's off so we didn't have to worry about getting home too late!!)

Looks like it was a lot of fun! How can you NOT have fun with the Campbells? We skipped 4th of July this year. ha ha. Well, we went to a party the day before and there were fireworks, so I guess that counts.

The look on Lils face in the last picture...awesome. She is SOOOO freaking funny. I love that girl. Their little game she was directing was really cute too. That was a good time. and it did feel really nice. It took some convincing to get Kolby out to BC but now he wants to go back every year. Unless of course they do it on water street again...thats just tooo close to drive somewhere for. ha! We LOVED it. Thanks for posting pictures.
Looks like fun! Janine, at least you convinced Kolby, I could not talk Kel into driving out there! Hopefully next year! :)
