FHE on the Armor or God

Since we are realizing our kids are getting older and the world is getting more confusing and crappy... making evil look good and goodness look evil... we decided to talk about going out in the world with the Armor of God, and how important it is to make good choices every day no matter how small the decisions seems to be, and to always do what Jesus would want us to. It was a great FHE and the kids had a fun time. Everyone participated and the older ones helped the younger ones. Good times!! I love my family!
Clint and our sweet little Lily
Lily putting her "light" around the picture of Christ after reading the scenario and deciding what she would do.
Emma helping Carson read his lightbulb. He was the cutest to listen to read. Such a stinkin' cute voice! haha
Jaron was our "Armor of God" model that we dressed as Clint read the scriptures. haha. Yes, we had to make due with what we had lying around the house!

Michelle,
That is such a great idea. We definatly need to be better about doing spiritual lessons in our FHE. We manage to do the activity and treat, Just need to get a lesson across. If you have any good ideas I really could use some. You are much more creative than you give youself credit for. We love your family too. How cute does Carson look in that picture? They are all so adorable. Glad to see you blogging more too BTW!

What a fun night. Our FHE is pretty boring, so I will probably not show this blog to Dallan-I don't want him to expect more. ha ha! Good job.

What a great FHE. Our kids really do need things like this to help guide them through our absolutely crazy world.
