Holy Moly! Is this REALLY from November!!?? haha

Cub Scout Pack Meeting: "Honoring our Heroes" night

The cub scouts in our ward had a night where they honored local heroes. It was really cool. Troy Hedland (who just came home from Iraq...his 3rd deployment) spoke to the scouts about patriotism and serving. They had a few other guys in the ward come dressed up in their uniforms... below from left to right: James P (corrections officer), Clint (patrol officer), Troy H (marine), Alton P (firefighter).
James and Clint talked to the kids about safety and about being a police officer. Then the kids wanted to know about their "tools" on their belts.
Clint and James "demonstrating" with the handcuffs. The cub scouts loved it!
Picnicking at O'Callagan Park
Clint and I took the kids over to O'Callagan Park on a Saturday and met Jeremy and Rachel, Jesse and Shannon, and Josh and Jody. We had a fun picnic and played ball with the little kids out on the field of grass. It was such a fun day (really nice outside!) I don't think any of us wanted to leave. :) Make sure you watch the hilarious video carefully at the end. You'll see a cute little boy tackle Carson. haha. So funny!
Rachel, Jeremy, Troy, Shannon, and Sam chowing!
Ammon, Jesse, Jaron, and Clint starting up the game.

Carson and Ammon! Oh man, they are sooo cute! Not sure where Carson's hand is. haha.
Aren't we so cute!
Yikes! Not sure what Jaron is planning in this picture, but it doesn't look good for adorable, unsuspecting Lily. haha. (Don't worry, he didn't touch her.)

About at the 43 second mark is where Carson gets tackled. It's funny what Clint tells the little boy. haha. Kids crack me up!

Kiralyn's baby blessing

On Sunday, Nov8th, Clint's brother, Kolby blessed his little baby girl, Kira. It was a great day, full the spirit, and full of family (my favorite combo!). After the blessing we met over at Kolby and Janine's for lunch and visiting.
The whole family: Kolby, Janine, Kira, big sister Bela, and big brother Talin. Hmmm, can you tell Bela wasn't too fond of getting her picture taken. haha. So cute
There's the chubba bubba. Check out those cheeks! Janine's mom made Kira's blessing outfit. It was so pretty and looked adorable on her!
3 brother's behinds :). Kelly, Kolby, Kayden
3 of my beautiful sister in laws: LtoR- Ashley (married to Kelly), Christen (married to Kourtney), and Stephanie (married to Kayden)

Me and my two sweet boys! Carson looks ticked, huh? :)
Janine's brother, Daniel, and his wife, Michelle came down from LaVerkin, UT. It was fun to see them!
Izaak and Layla couldn't get enough of these cups. Nice, cheap entertainment! They are sooo cute!

Look at those beautiful big eyes! She is so cute.

My boys get their Eagle's!! Yay!

Also on Nov 8th, 4 of the boys that I taught in Sunday School all received their Eagle Scout Awards! It was an awesome night. I am so proud of all of them! They worked really hard for this and they worked together on a lot of things, encouraging eachother along the way. It was a great night and I am so happy for all of them.
Silly boys! LtoR: Jeffrey Johnson, Tim Neilsen, Me, Craig Ludwick, Raymond Cronin Leavitt.
Wow, they are getting so old!... hmmm, what does that make me. :)
This is our old Bishop, Bennie Pipes, with the guys. He was their Young Men's president when they started scouts and then became the bishop. It was his suggestion to them to all get their Eagles together. I'd say he was the proudest one there.
Carson didn't last the night and my little Emma was such a big helper!
Mike Wiener with the boys. He was one of their YM leaders.
