Groovy fun!

Saturday night Clint and I went to Walter Scott's 60th birthday surprise party. It was so much more fun than I thought it would be! The Scott family are so much fun anyways, but this was above and beyond in my book. Clint's parents were asked to sing a Carpenter's song called 'Top of the World' for the party, but they couldn't make it so Bec and Clint sang it. It was really good. It's the song Clint's parents sang at Walter and Christina's wedding reception many many years ago. Bec and Dave and Keith and Jeni were there too so it made it even more fun... it reminded me of the "good ol days" when we all used to do stuff together all the time... before kids! haha. The party was a 60's 70's party so we dressed up the best we could. Clint looked totally awesome!! There was a delicious dinner and yummy appetizers. Also, the decor was tons of fun... a peace/smiley face ice sculpture, a very cool cake, fun party favors (blow up instruments, glow in the dark glasses and necklaces, bubbles, tattoos, and noise makers, and an awesome DJ! There was a fun photo booth to dress up and take pics (i gotta scan ours in so I can put it on here) And we can't forget the fun Karoake! What a blast that was! It really was a fun fun night and a lot of people came to help Walter celebrate. Christina (his wife) and their kids are so much fun! Thanks again guys for inviting us!!
