Campbell Family Campout

Wow, I have a lot of catching up to do on the blog! :) Well, to get started... every year all of Clint's family goes on a trip together (usually camping). It's a lot of fun, and we really look forward to it each year. This year we went to Kent's Lake. It's up the mountain in Beaver, Utah. I love it there, and it's our 3rd time camping there. We had a lot of fun canoeing, eating (thanks Dave for the AWESOME dutch oven ribs and funeral potatoes... yum), visiting, roasting marshmallows, singing and telling stories around the campfire (grandpa's funny ghost stories were a huge hit!), and watching the guys play wiffleball! I already can't wait til next year!

Can you tell, from looking at these two, what the weather is like? Emma wore her swimsuit all day. Silly girls! On Pioneer Day we drove down the mountain and into town to see the small town fun... this was it! haha. We ended up not staying long cause it was too hot, but not before CJ and Jaron ran in the 10 year old foot race! They came in 2nd and 3rd from last. haha!

This is CJ (Bec's son), Kyler (Clint's brother), and Jaron. If you can't tell from the pic, they are completely soaked from head to toe. Several of us got in a big water fight in the canoe's (these guys started it)... we decided to gang up on them... they lost! :)
Dirty Lily... she looked like this all week. Not to mention that she injured herself several times daily (it was kinda funny). It wasn't so funny when she picked up a hot coal and burned the inside of her hand. 3 hours of he**. But she pulled through and enjoyed the rest of her camping experience. :)

On our way back from camping we had a little get together at the new Washington, Utah rec center pool. It's pretty cool!... we all needed a really good bath. :) We joined some of Clint's cousins and aunts/uncles there and had a good time. Hmmm, I wonder why these came out so tiny. Well, in order... 1.
