Aliente Nature Discovery Park

Monday, April 6th, was the first day of the kids spring break and fortunately, Clint had it off. So, we decided to make a fun family day out of it. We drove across town to visit the well talked about Aliente Nature Discovery Park. It ended up being well worth the drive. It's a beautiful park with a big "dinosaur" sand box, GREAT slides and play area, a couple of great ponds, and a beautiful waterfall. Lots of open area to run and play too. It was gorgeous weather too, which made it that much better! After playing there for several hours, we drove down the street for frozen custard... YUM!! It was a fun day!
Lily, Emma, and Jaron looking at the pond, ducks, and fish (I didn't even pose them this way. haha) They are so cute.
Carson and Lily look like they might just walk right in to the water... luckily, Clint is keeping a good eye out for them... uh, well, maybe not. haha.
My wonderfully silly family
Cool turtles loungin in the sun
The entrance to the sandbox area. So cool!
Lily and Emma loved these dinosaur eggs and babies. They were fun to climb all over
Carson and Clint enjoying some shade
Carson loved this car. Lily didn't care much. :)
Fun in the sand... oh- and I had no idea whose sand toys these were. haha.
Self explanatory!
Me and my boy coolin' off
These slides were awesome! And the play area was huge and so fun!
Dork juniors!

It was great to see you at church the other day! You look great and your kids are every bit as cute in person as they are on the blog.

I need to make it out to that park-I've heard from a few people that it is a good one.
