A Fun Valentine's Weekend

On Saturday morning the kids woke up to little valentine buckets filled with candy and goodies (a tradition we got from my parents). Clint went with his brothers to play basketball for a few hours (his valentines gift from me... haha) and I cleaned the house with the kids (they hated that). When Clint got home we got stuff together and went over to my sister, Shannon's, house and the kids made little valentine crafts, we had pizza, and Jaron and Clint played the Wii. It was fun to hang out and visit with Shannon and Jody and let the kids have a fun afternoon. Saturday evening Clint and I and Shannon and Jesse went out to eat at Cafe Rio and then to a movie (Confessions of a Shopaholic), which Shannon and I liked, and the guys had a nice nap through the whole thing. haha. Then we all parted ways and Clint and I went birthday shopping for Lily. It was a fun evening... thanks Azia for babysitting!

On Sunday after church, I started making goodies for Lily's birthday party on Monday night. It was really fun! I made a bunch of sugar cookies (thanks Sanna for the flour!), some chocolate suckers, and chocolate covered strawberries... unfortunately, nobody got to sample the strawberries, because Clint and I thought they were so good, we ate ALL of them!! Sorry everyone! They were delicious!

Happy 3rd Birthday Lily!
On Monday night for Family Home Evening we invited our families over for cake and ice cream to celebrate Lily's 3rd birthday. It was so nice for so many people to come, and she LOVED playing with her cousins and friends. She was also my most animated when opening her gifts... she was so excited about everything she received. Happy birthday to my sweet sweet silly lily.
the awesome cake I made....trust me when I say this is the coolest cake I've ever made! sad, huh? :)
Me and my birthday girl!
Jennifer and Carson
This is one of Lily's gifts (from Rachel and Jeremy and their kids). It's a frog tent... and it was popular! Inside the tent: LtoR- Shaunie, Devin, Sam, Emma, Auri, Min, and Jennifer

Carson's block! :) above pics are of Ammon giving him hugs, while Carson slyly tries to steal his pacifier

Clockwise from UL: My dad and Carson; my dad and Lily; Devin, CJ, and Jaron doing what they do best... computer games... dorks! :)

Madelyn (Jody's 4 month old); The chics... Shaunie, Emma, and Min

All the kids trying to put up the frog tent in the front room; Clint and Jeremy dishin' cake and ice cream; Dia and Aaron Case (friends and neighbors); Kourtney, Christen, Kayden, and Stephanie... gotta love my family!

Good times as usual at the campbell house! Ryan was looking at this with me and kept yelling, "my daddy" when he saw Clint. I can't wait to visit and see how he acts around Clint and how Carson acts around Clay. Ryan is our shy guy, so I know he would give Clint the look of death that he gives a few people at church if they try to smile at him. It has become a ward joke.

I'm bummed we missed the party - Lily is getting so big and is such a fun and cute little girl. I fell asleep at 6 pm that night and luckily woke up at 7 - I was feeling too groggy to party.
