Showers, Brides, and Babies!!

Baby Shower:

My sister in law, Christen (Clint's brother, Kourtney's, wife), had her baby shower on March 6th, and it was so fun. Her sister, Celia hosted it at her house and Christen had lots of friends and family come. She got lots of great stuff and had a lot of support. This is baby #1 for them so there is a little extra excitement! :)

THEN.... along came baby! Adam Byron Campbell was born on April 13 (almost a week late) and weighed in at 9 lbs 3 ozs and 21 inches long! He was a big boy... and soooo cute!!

Bridal Shower:

Clint's cousin's (Rawley) fiance, Tiffanie, had her bridal shower right after Christen's baby shower so it was a FUN busy day for us! Bec and I went together and it was a lot of fun! I love being with her! Tiffanie is so cute and so funny! She'll be a total delight to have in this crazy Campbell family!

And then..... The day came and on April 9th Rawley and Tiffanie were sealed in the Las Vegas Temple... They are such the fashionable couple!! Love them!

Clint's awards

Just wanted to blog a little about my hubby's awards he's received these past couple months...

A few months ago was the City of Henderson Police Dept annual awards ceremony and Clint received a "Life Saving Award" for saving a guy by doing CPR on him before paramedics arrived. It was a cool night with awards given out to many officers and several civilians who went above and beyond. Loved it and am proud of Clint!

Last night Clint received the VFW's Police Officer of the Year for 2009 at the City Council Meeting! I was so proud of him! He was honored to receive it, but very humble telling me he's not sure why he got it, he just loves doing his job everyday! What a guy!!

I'm so proud! He just wants to go home and eat! haha (the pin above his namebadge is recognition for his life saving award. It's part of his uniform now...pretty cool I think)

Wranglers Hockey Game

We attended a Las Vegas Wranglers Hockey game in March and it was so much fun. It was the 7th annual HPD (henderson police dept) vs NLVFD (north las vegas fire department) charity broom hockey game and also a girl scout cookie eating contest (they did them at the 2 intermissions of the actual game.) The evening raises money for Autism. Jennifer and Matt came with us and we had a really enjoyable evening. Lots of cheering and yelling and laughing. It was awesome! We took Emma and Lily with us (Jaron didn't want to come... big surprise (sarcasm) ) and they had a great time. :) HPD won the hockey game (woowoo), but NLVFD won the cookie eating contest! Too funny watching these guys all over the ice, sliding and falling. Hilarious! Great night and I'm sure we'll make it an annual event.

Lily turned 4 in Feb! (a late post)

My sweet, feisty, little Lily turned 4 years old on February 18. I couldn't believe it. She is by far my most wild, silly, funny, angry, hilarious, never-slow-down child. I love that girl. She looks so much like Clint to me. She's cut her hair 3 times already and 2 times required some serious fixing. She gets into everything and is the most stubborn kid ever! I never know what to expect next from her. She keeps life interesting. haha...Since I'm too lazy to find other pics of Lily from when she was little, I'll just post pics from her bday. She had a tinkerbell bday with her cousins.
